I love these shoes! Spring Step is always very comfortable for me. These are very cute and versatile. I love the zipper closure. I am very happy with my purchase.My cousin had a pair of these boots and I immediately fell in love with them. Then I tried them on and they were so comfortable. I ordered them and have been extremely happy.The leather is soft, but the size 39 (8.5 US size) is not a 39, more like a 38. This boot is shorter than the other pair in the same size I ordered from Spring Step, though the width is on target. I removed the thick, bouncy insole and put in my custom orthotics, which are thinner. That means the boots would feel even smaller with the original insole taking up a good amount of room. I would re-order at a half size larger, but the price rose by $20 in the two days between my placing the original order and the boots' arrival. I'd state my opinion about that kind of business practice, but then the review wouldn't get posted.Nice soft leather but had to keep retying laces. Hit high bad spot on my ankle and caused bruising. Not recommended .
