It has several nice features including a small brim in the hood that keep rain out of your face, a nice chest pocket, good side pockets, and it's packable. The material is thin, but rip-stop. The only thing I didn't like, was the sewn-in carrying strap in the pouch (chest pocket), which is very bothersome rubbing against your chest; so I cut that out....perfect. If I have to pack this jacket, I'm not going to strap it to anything.
